Them holes wuz probly what we call aroun here "kentucky windadge", most auto weapons require a sertin "sightin in", them fellers wuz hell at gettin ya triangulated speshully with a mortar, givem two tries an the third is too close for comfort, saw a Navy Minesweeper in Nam take a mortar roun to aft, everbody goes to battle stashuns, then a roun goes forard jes short and most fellers buttoned up, we wuz yellin "JUMP!", third roun went dead midship, sunk the sweeper, blocked the channel, killed a bunch a good ole boys...triangulation, end a story and back to powerwagons.
