The early models were mostly magnesium. The latest version was aluminum. This all helped it to be the first military vehical that could hall more than its own weight. They use a two cylinder horizontally apposed engine. IT produces 32 lb-ft of torque and will carry the mule and payload to about 30 mph. I can see them easily costing more than a jeep. Just look at the production numbers.
