The work involved in changing from a big to small block is not worth it if you are just going to sell it. You would need the correct motor mount brackets, reconfigure the exhaust, reroute wiring, and find the right bell housing or replace the entire trans if automatic. These are just the big things you'll encounter, there would be many more details to contend with especially if it needs to remain smog legal.
