Being that the WDX & WM300 are for all practical purposes the same truck with only a few minor changes,the answer to (1.)is yes,
because the frame is the same and the cab is in the same position and 99.9% of parts will interchange since they are the same truck.
As far as the bed floor on the WM300 being wood or metal I couldn't swear to to anything
but,I bought a 64' D-200 with a 8'stepside bed with a wood floor so I suspect the WM did also.
