Mike,
There were 3 trannys. The "Before" the "After" and the NP420 which is synchro. The first 2 were non synchro crashboxes. The Before tranny will have a number ending in 126 cast into the side. The After will have a number ending 711, The numbers are about a half inch high and are raised. The NP420 shift tower is further ahead than the crashbox trannys.
