Ok, maybe Im reading too much into my situation but here goes....
Seems to me that sometimes some people have the tendency to take advantage of some one that doesn't fully know what he's doin. My problem is with the fact that people are telling me and selling me parts they say are for a 1948 B1. When in reality Im not so sure they are.
I guess its human nature, if I got something I wanna get rid of and its close to what you need.....YEAH SURE ITS JUST WHAT YOU WANT.
Case in point, the windshield frame. I have now got a windshield gasket from VPW and Roberts. Neither one fits as some of you have said they should. Im beginning to wonder if I got some windshield from a Range Rover or something!
Same with the fuel sending unit. Was told its the one, and sure enough, it isn't. Hadda get one from VPW.
On a good note, today I dropped the seat frame off at the upholsterer. Goin with 8oz duck, in a tan color. Should look good with the dark submarine green.
