Well, this weekend I am heading to Mike's to get my NP435 for the V8 conversion in the '50. He said he has probably a dozen of them, and we'll just have to go out there and pull one out. My question is, which trucks would be the best candidates for a short-tailshaft NP435 both with and without dual PTO windows? I have a good long-tailshaft dual-window trans in the garage, so swapping internals wouldn't be a big issue. Killing two birds with one stone woul be better, though. I'll probably pick up a reverse-rotation steering box, as well. What years and models will have what I need? 1/2, 3/4, or ton trucks? Thanks!!
