1. Heat the large area and hope a slow cooling will expand the metal. Not likely to work is my bet.

2. Cut a "X" in the door skin, and push it back out and weld the panels back in the proper surface. Not sure how hard it will be to fill the gap left from the cut, but could weld in a backing piece.
