Kaegi,
Some had Dana 44, some had the 60. Both have a 10 bolt cover. Easy way to figure it out is to measure the rear cover vs. the front cover. More than likely the rear in the truck is a Dana 70, which uses the same cover and gasket as a 60. If both covers are the same, you have a 60 front. If the front cover is considerably smaller, its a 44. Plus the 60 has bigger hubs. The center disconnect setup didn't come along until 85 or 86, so provided your axle is original, it won't have that. Center disconnect axles have a little box on top the axle almost dead center with a couple vacuum lines going to it. They work great until the lines go bad or the actuator craps out. There is a manual cable actuator you can buy to replace the vacuum actuator, and a benefit is that besides eliminating the vacuum system, you can lock in the front end whenever you want and it gives you a 2wd low. It's nice for backing a trailer sometimes. An 82 one ton should have a 205. The lighter trucks got the aluminum case 208. If the entire case is cast iron and not just half, its a 205. And who knows, the round ID tag may still be on it hiding under some grease.
