as manny said tires are the easiest and least expensive way to increase overall speed. changing ring and pinion gears on a powerwagon is not a task for the average joe.they are difficult to get apart and are time consuming to get set properly. you can buy the complete third member [ready to install] from bob stahl. if i go to the trouble of 4:89 gears i want an engine that will turn them. this calls for a complete repower with a trannsmission that has overdrive. imo either just tires and leave the truck alone, or a complete drivetrain with re-power. 4:89 gears and tires without a repower and you wont be happy with the results.
