I dont have any pedal return springs on any of my Helitool Hanging Pedals. My MC/Hydroboost return springs are more than enough to return my pedal to home. The same with my hydraulic clutch MC. Check for possible binding, although I dont know how much return force you have on your brake and Clutch setup.
