Dave, I ran the vaccum motor hooked to the wiper motor for about five to six minutes with out any sign of it warming up, BUT, I have not tried it across the resisters, hope to do that this afternoon. wouldn't a vaccum tank of some kind reduce the loading of the vaccum motor? when I picked up the wiper motor and tried to to stop the shaft with my hand, I couldn't, it was plenty strong enough, and did slow the pump down slightly, but it did not slow down enough to make it bog any at all, just a slight difference in rpm's. at no point did it even warm up at all. I had the charger on boost (up to 60 amps) in order to let the pump take whatever it needed to go, it was as stated 16-17 amps (did I do that right?) on the meter on the charger, if thats right, and it may not be, I don't know. Dave.
