I used to borrow my dads 182 from time to time but I can't justify the expense of owning & maintaining one myself.
I'm not really sure where I'd go in it these days with fuel costs?
I'll always remember heading off to Reno in it & losing the charging system & radios. I landed in missoula, MT for repais & the guy had a fully restored Corsair he was working on...it was incredible! You just don't realize how big those old planes are until you're standing beside one!
That would be a big, big, dream come true to own one of those old classics.
