Which makes it a 1/2 ton 4wd and also a Power Wagon. It has 6 bolt axles, but all of the W100-W300 trucks had six bolt axles in 1958.
Power Giant is the hobby term for the trucks made from 1957-1960, the term was popularized by Don Bunn. The actual Dodge literature used the term Power Giant to talk about trucks until the early 1960s and some engines up until the late 1960s.
Power Wagon was a term that Dodge started using in the 1946 model year (late 1945) and used until 1980. All 4wd Dodge trucks that were built by the factory and sold the the civilian market (and some that went to the military) went by the Power Wagon name between those years. Even though some trucks (mostly C-3-HWs and W500s) didn't always get the Power Wagon tags.
The Town Wagon was introduced in the 1956 model year and was made until 1966 with some more major changes in 1961.
Enjoy your Town Wagon, as those who have owned them will agree they are great trucks.
