Sorry, but that was a dumb stunt, especially making a video of it. It's not a war crime, but the US is supposed to be better than that. Yeah, soldiers have been counting coup on their enemies forever, but at least in modern times they're not supposed to go bragging about it in public.
What ticks me off is that the media are treating this totally different than they did the Abu Graib stuff under Bush. Back then they did everything they could to blame the Bush Administration for it. Now there isn't the slightest suggestion that Obama has any responsibility at all. Why the difference?
