Sorry to hear that, Paul. You have put a lot of effort into the museum project, and to have someone rip you off like that would leave you with some pretty bad feelings inside.
Thieves are among the lowest people on the planet. Not only are they violating your rights of possession of that which you have rightfully acquired, usually with some labor, money or otherwise involved, but they leave you with a sense of betrayal.
Nearly 50 years ago, someone stole a Colt Python 357 from my apartment. It had to have been someone I knew, which really made me angry. I learned later that one of the people I suspected was caught in Mexico and a large caliber handgun was taken from him. The good thing is I also heard he was pistol-whipped with the same handgun. Maybe my Python?
