Hey Tim,
My thumb is still there, however a little rounder than my right one but its not any shorter. I guess that means naming me Stubby is out.
Now lets take a moment to talk about shop safety. I had my safety glasses and ear protection on, but neither of those prevented me from putting my thumb into the cutter and turning it on.
On a more serious note my thumb is healing and I can move it a little. The doctors feel that with some therapy i should regain most of the mobility in the top joint and all the mobility of the lower joint.
