What do you do if one of the clips that holds the spring leaves together comes loose? They're held to the lowest spring leaf by a rivet of some sort that broke off. This is on my M54 wrecker, not a PW. The springs are very heavy but so is the load and it doesn't seem good to drive it around this way. Assuming I could jack it up some way to bend the loose leaf and get the clip back on, what could I do about the broken rivet? Welding is obviously no good, and a bolt isn't an option either. The stub of the rivet is still in the spring pack, but the hole in the loose leaf is open.
