i bought one of those resistors on ebay to use a 6v blackout light on my 12v command car. i later found that 12v blackout bulbs were used in some tanks and got a 12v to install direct. the orig app for the resistor is for a windshield wiper in a vw being updated to 12v. i have it here somewhere if you need me to check specs etc. since i know you use your trucks, you might consider selling / trading your 6v wipers for 12v converted ones. usually a resistor fix or a work around ends up being more trouble than its worth. good luck. manny
