I had 2 oblong tie rod holes on my 6x6, so rather than swap axles I bored out the holes and installed new tapered inserts. I'll have to look up where I got them, but they were about $15.00 each.

My '62 FFPW has a lot of camber as well, which has caused some uneven wear on my 9.00-16's. Time to rotate the tires I guess.
