I would do the same thing to keep paperwork etc clean, of course you can use the tool room for that also. I have my tool room temp controlled 24/7. Being a Tool and die maker taught me how important temperature control is for close tolerances and tool longevity.
I would add keeping the air compressor in a separate sound proofed room is a plus.
