There were several styles of these. Some just clamped to the housing with a wire bail, some had a jack screw in a flat wire bail, and some had threads in the glass and screwed into the body housing in addition to a safety wire bail. Of those with threads, some had square threads and some round.
A picture of the larger pieces of glass and of the remaining good parts would help.
