The language that includes American citizens on American soil is daunting.
I can see it now.
Man in his own home is detained my military police becuase of terrorist activites. Home owner was protecting his family and property with semi-auto hand gun. Shoots and wounds known violent criminal. Criminal files lawsuit against home owner and wins. Home owner is sent to Guantanmo Bay. Home owners family cannot pay bills and ends up on gonvernment aid.
