I agree, new cam would ahve to be made. proabably not enough material to alter it that much. I think it would be a waste of time on a flathead. they dont rev to high enough rpms to utilize a better intake manifold. look at Chris Cases dyno specs. no improvement with a balanced intake. I think the best way to make a big difference would be to build an overhead valve head that fits. I know some were built for ford flatheads back in the day but not sure if it was ever done on any inline stuff. would be expensive though.
