About a half-mile up the street from me, lies a two-car garage which was owned by a 93-yr. old, somewhat prominent woman in town here. Well, the old lady died several months ago and left the old stone and frame house abandoned. The family decided that the house wasn't worth restoring (the woman used to brag that she was born on the kitchen table of that house), so they had the house demolished a several weeks ago, except for the garage which was left standing, and I ask myself why, what's in that garage? Perhaps a '32 Ford roadter, or a Packard, or maybe even a FF Power Wagon that once belonged to her late husband! There's probably nothing in that garage except her old funiture that the family is saving for a yard sale in the Spring. But, my curiosity is getting the best of me, and I'm tempted to go see for myself, despite the blacked-out windows and the property being adorned with no-trespassing signs! But, if I know my luck, I'll get busted for breaking and entering, and get to spend the Chistmas weekend in Jail! Any clever ideas out there? Dave Maher
