I have a 96 grand cherokee with over 307000 and still runs good and shifts fine and is my daily driver. i also have 98 cherokee that has been a good one so far. i will say, that we bought another grand cherokee in 2002 and its not half the jeep that the 96 one is. it doesnt drive, run, or shift as good as the 96 and built alot cheaper
