I have driven from Tex. to C.R. 5 times so I know the way and what the borders crossings etc. are all about, however that was in the 70īs. I have met people here who have driven down recently from as far away as Canada withot a problem. No ferries but six borders, US-Mex., Mex-Gua., Gua-El Sal., Sal.-Hon., Hond.- Nic., and Nic., Costa Rica
My concern is the bandidos or cartel would see my rig and have to have it----------lol
One time I drove down a B61 tamdem dump truck, and another an rmodel tractor with a ford single axle piggy back on the mack 5th wheel
yes going east would be the plan, I have seen most of the west coast of cal. from l.a. south, the flatter the better
Ideally, I would install a rebuilt tc and go thru the crash box, put new seals in the diffs and carry maybe one or two rebuilt pumpkins, speedy sleeves etc. and do a brake job, hoses, lines, mc, wcs and shoes, check the drums, but probably just let them wear into the shoes.
I thought gasoine would be cheap in mex.(.50), but I just checked and they are getting just as screwed as we are, itīs almost $3.00.
