For a $1 a stamp, I would be doing all electronic Christmas cards... not sure that really helps if it significantly changes behavior. With all the stamp price changes over the past 15 years, I imagine that the post office has a pretty good idea of pricing elasticity of demand. Not sure that they are sophisticated enough to use it...
