That is were the PCV valve is plumbed in to the intake below the carburetor.
On the same era engine in any other car or truck it is were ( right rear corner),
The Road Draft Tube would connect.
The PCV system was fairly new then,(40's) and unique to the Power Wagon.
(Sorry best picture I have. The PCV valve is connected to the elbow on the intake)
