I hear what your saying but when you compare the efficiency of a PW getting 10 mpg, and a 2003 Dodge, Chev, ford with a 5.9 or what ever size each brand has. they still get 10MPG! sometimes a bit better. just in the last five years we are seeing trucks get 20 plus with V8 engines (Dodge and GM are). so the efficiency gains of a pressurized system have not been realized on this scale. any gas generator is not very efficient in my limited experience with them. afte using a 1 cylinder diesel set up all day on 1 gallon I was sold on diesel. only draw back was the diesel exhaust. how is the engine coming?
