Aluminum is nice looking, until it oxides.
It's great in boats. I replaced the floor in my Almar fishing boat with aluminum. It's perfect in there. Kind of like a tanning booth.
Steel treadplate (diamond plate) is the only way to go in a Power Wagon that you are going to use/abuse.
