I went out and checked the WC21 Frame that I will be using for the 237 conversion. I think you are right about the motor mounts. By switching the left mount to the right side and the right mount to the to the left side, that would give you the 2" you need. The problem I see in doing that would be that you have to remove the rivets holding the motor mounts to the crossmember and then use bolts, nuts, flat and lock washers. In addition you would have to hole saw openings on the bottom and sides of the crossmember to tighten up the bolts etc holding the motor mounts.
