my brother and I drove an 02 B3500 packed to the ceiling with heavy media gear and towing a 14 foot enclosed Uhaul trailer full of median gear from Seattle to lynchburg TN. it has the 360 (5.9) and we got just under 10 MPG. I was impressed with the mileage consideringthe load we had. and we did not drive like grandma either. 75 to 80 through the prairies. ;/)
He has driven it all ove rthe country for wokr and still has it and loves it. only thing he has done was the strut rod bushings were worn out at about 110K. lots of truck for the money. they are very low priced compared to the GM vans.
