If I stay with the BUDD rims I will probably have to, the mounting costs for the shop I used was crazy compared to a modern wheel, and that wasn't even balanced or installed. I just needed something to let me roll the chassis around my yard.
Whereas I have access to tire mounting and balanceing equipment for conventional stuff.
Not to mention that with their tire hammers I'm not sure how you would ever get a tire changed without damaging the finish on a split ring or the ring itself.
