If you grab both shafts with your thumbs pointing up, and turn one, the thumbs will go in opposite directions- either towards, or away from each other.
They are pretty rare. Most Dodges used the same box with 'like rotation' innards. But the guts do interchange, and are common in other applications. For one truck I did do the swap.
And two that I've done used International 4x4 boxes.
