There must be different springs because when I fired up my rebuilt 230 that I had the oil pressure was low and had me worried. I took some relief springs out of some other blown motors I had laying around and they were longer. When I put one in my motor the pressure shot right up to 60#.There must have been different springs available. My wc Army manual specifically says don't add washers to increase the pressure, so change the springs?? I guess. I'm confused, ha ha.
