I bought a whole house generator (dual Fuel Natural Gas or Gasoline) back when hurricane Ike blew thru. The best investment that I have ever made, Well maybe the Power Wagon was the best. Momma's happy when the generator comes on, when lights go out. I have a Gardian 25KW system with auto transfer switch, that was being sold by our power co-op. $4500.00 installed with a 5-year maintenence contract.
