no way. Dodge truck sales had gone way down that year because partialy of the ugly 57 body style (1 year only stule for good reason) but no way that low. I ahve seen many 1 ton 57 D300s for sale over the years. NOt sure about any with 9 foot box but that is true with all years. the 9 footers got beat to death and scrapped before the rest of the truck. hence why they cost so much when you find a good one.
