I had myself convinced I had a bleeding issue after having everything hooked up and reading lots of material on the internet on bleeding . Turns out the pump shaft on the pump was snapped on the firewall side. I thought I had pressure initally, but was wrong. Either I started with a bad pump, or ran it dry during one of my early bleed attempts. After I hooked up a guage and realized I had no pressure, then no flow, I felt like an idiot. What a simple problem that has had me really baffled and stoped progress for some time. It just never dawned on me that I might not have any pressure, and was never looking to crack a line and get sprayed with fluid to check for pressure. If I had just stuck with the problem instead of setting it aside I would be much further on this project. thanks for the response paul.
