THROW OUT BEARING sorry guys couldnt resist that one.Its a shame to pitch them out but when the tranny is down and the clutch is out its time to replace.Bigger problem I have seen is that the new throw out bearing is just a plain knock off piece of junk, your trouble just started after you install one of those el cheapos.Seen pops here one time split a tractor and changed the clutch. He went to the dealer to get a clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearing.Old Howard the parts guy and pops match up the clutch plate and disc, then they both look at the "new" throw out bearing. They both chuckle and say best put the old bearing in even at twenty years old and some wear it was of better quality than the new one. Geeze I am getting as long winded as the old man telling a story! thats bad, junior copey
