I finally have time to look at the shifting problem with my gen 1. the problem lies with the tps sensor and the 3-4 shift. it wont shift into 4th (auto) i took a volt reading at the tps and its right around 5. i looked it up online and it says im suppose to have .6 to 1.2v? I tried to adjust it with a 10mm wrench but no matter which way i turned it, it would remain at 5volts.
am I missing a step or is the tps sensor shot? maybe I need better instructions on how to fix it.
