The setup used on my W300 CC I copied from my 1967 W300. There are two brackets that bolt to the back of the brake boosted allowing it to clear the clutch master cylinder. I am not sure if this setup would work on a W500. The attached image is of a 1972 D500 or D600. I think this is the setup you need to hunt down.
