need help with my 727

ok, my daily driver is down to 1st and 2nd gear. I replaced my intake and carb, and didn't put the kick down cable on, because it didn't fit.. well, i got a new one.. and i just haven't gottenthe chance to put it on.. but anyway, now my tranny is REALLY slipping in reverse, and 3rd gear.. like it doesen't move at all.. I can't be drivin around only forward, and in 2 gears.. I sometimes use this truck to commute in because it is such a good truck. BTW, my engine is a napa rebuild with 15k and the tranny is orignal with about 190k on it... also.. it used to just jump when I had my food on the brake.. anyone?? I need help.. I am starting to miss my truck, and I just drove it 6 hours ago.. thanks. Garrett
