Finally I figured out the mystery of wiring this thing up. Thank all of you who walked me through this thing. You know who you are. One final question. Why is that stupid pilot light staying on with the key off? The directions say that the power lead before the flasher is supposed to be hooked up to the ammeter. But in fine print it says Caution: Power lead must be connected to a line which is "hot" when ignition switch is off for hazard warning signal to operate when motor is not running. So I hooked it to the constant fuse box which we all know causes the pillot light to stay on. What to do? What to do? Thanks for more help.
