You know I really agree with you about the driving thing, but your comment about teachers unions is way off the mark. Get the parents to get involved and get their smart-ass video gaming moronic children out from in front of the f___ing television and learn something useful, whatever it is. I am sick of hearing about how teachers are to blame. They are the hardest working, most underpaid people I've met. They actually give a damn about your kids. And they're not getting rich doing it. Try blaming the state government that can't seem to find any money to support the schools. Lack of materials, lack of qualified staff, crowded classrooms, unsafe classrooms, etc. It's as if people beleive that teachers should do their job out of the goodness of their hearts. Pay them a decent wage and you'll find a level of quality and professionalism that you would expect in any other profession. And then you would have no one else to blame but yourself!
