As a note, to install the 5 tooth gear on the transfer case output shaft, you need to pull the parking brake drum and yoke, the rear cover with the seal, and the tapered roller bearing inside. Then you have to snake the gear out and replace it. Don't loose the shims that set the bearing preload!
