I recently rebuilt a 3rd member to replace the rear of my 41 WC. The thrust shoe adjustments were welded on all my diffs. I had broken teeth on my pinion, and also noticed the pin in the carrier had come out. I am guessing the pin got stuck in the teeth and caused them to break.
