and the 4 speed manual transmission that had a synchro 1st gear was the NP445B, a close ratio 4 speed with 4.56 1st, 2.28 2nd, 1.31 3rd and 1.00 4th. It's a "highway" transmission that effectively "splits" a typical 3rd gear of 1.66 and standard 4th gear of 1.00. I have no idea whether this would bolt up to an old style WDX/WM300 Power Wagon. It was optional equipment for the 1969 and later W100, W200 and W300 among other trucks.
