Last night I opened the carb. The float was not set any where near the .250 " spec my manual shows. I have set the float to .250"
and will install and try latter this morning when it warms up (its -17 now). But I wonder why it would act up now. I have over 100 hours on the engine and its always run fine, even with the float not set to spec. I doubt if its ice in fuel line since I always run dry gas.
But the float would appear to be the problem.
the base of the carb was a little damp but not soaked. The big thing is why would the float all of a sudden cause a problem and then at times clear its self and run good for a few minutes, then load up and repeat this cycle.
Thanks for your suggestions. I will post result this evening (if it ever warms up to at least zero).
