The Jeep trailer could be used on 3/4 tonners as well. They have the advantage of being cheaper than a good Ben Hur trailer. (BTW Ben Hur was just one company making them. In reality several did.)
The WWII Jeep trailer made by Bantam and Checker and the postwar M-100 trailer are nearly identical, so unless you want absolute authenticity, either could be used. There are also post-war civvie Jeep trailers with tailgates. I have one, and they are much nice for hauling things.
The M416 trailer is similar, but uses trapiziodal fenders instead of the proper WWII & M100 round fenders, so it just doesn't look right. The M416 also uses M151 MUTT pattern rims, while the WWII & M100 & civvie trailers used the MB/GPW rims.
Drawbacks to the Jeep trailer are lack of load carrying ability (500 lbs) and it simply disappears behind anything larger than a Jeep, unless all canvas is removed.
